Friendly Reminder: If you try to update your existing install, it will tell you that your trial key has expired, no matter if you ask a new one with a different email address. Im guessing the installer now generates some sort of unique ID based on the machine running the software, so if you have already installed a previous version with a trial key and want to update it with a new trial key, it wont let you. (test install on my pc, where I also tested previous versions). So don't update your running install yet If you are fresh installing it on a new machine there is no problem (Tested it on a virtual machine, with a fresh installation of windows).
Mdaemon 17.5.2 tested and fully functional with SecurityPlus 5.5 and Outlook Connector 5.0.1, on a brand new installation of windows 2016 server standard on VMware Workstation 14. The new Cyren/Clam Antivirus update automaticly daily. SecurityPlus 5.5.0 vs SecurityPlus 5.1.0? i am setup SecurityPlus 5.5.0 but sometime sent email waiting about 24 - 30 hours to Received. Now, i am used Mdaemon 17.5.2 and SecurityPlus 5.1.0.

Our records indicate you already have a trial key. Please copy the trial key code below and paste it into your MDaemon installation to continue your 30-day free trial. Trial Key: So you definitely cannot update an existing install. I even tried installing on a new VM and using the trial keys I got from it to update an existing install. That does work but when you go to get a trial key for Active Sync (Run MDaemon.exe, go under Setup->Mobile Device management… and tick Enable Active Sync server and/or click the Download trial license button.), you will get an error that your trial has expired :-( How can one update an existing install, now?
SecurityPlus 5.5.0 Can you look in your logs to find the reason on the 24 to 30 hours to received? Take a close look to ...-all.log
Install mdaemon/securityplus/outlook connector on a brand new virtual machine, and use a new email to get trial keys. I use windows server 2016 standard on VMware Workstation 14 Pro for my virtual machine and https://10minutemail.net/ for the email. Using an email that you ever used to get trial keys in the past, will give you unusable keys Installing Mdaemon on the same windows 7, 8, 10, or server 2008, 2012, our 2016, you ever used to test an other install of Mdaemon in the past when requesting trial keys, will give you unusable keys. The Simple working way = New Windows OS Install + New Email = New usable trial keys. Then use this news trials keys in the upgrade of your existing mdaemon setup.
Thanks for the info I did what you suggested before I created my previous post. The new trial keys do work for MDaemon, Security Plus and Outlook Connector. However, Active Sync does not give the option of requesting a trial key via email. It's pulled directly from the Alt-N server so you cannot transfer that key from one install to another (no way I know of). Correct me if I'm wrong but you still have to open MDaemon before patching and get a trial key for Active Sync, don't you? Run MDaemon.exe, go under Setup->Mobile Device management… and tick Enable Active Sync server and/or click the Download trial license button.
