HIERO是一套应用程序专门用在VFX流程整合工作上面, 可以用script管理时间轴的工具, 确认编辑的决定清单并且把VFX镜头分配给美术人员, 让整个工作进行能够检视到整个前后关係, 解放原本的系统, 让美术人员做出更有创意的工作. HIERO当初在写的时候就已能与NUKE相容为目标, 当然你也可以自己写script ,让它能跟其他应用程式协同运作. 由于HIERO是开放式的, 可以透过Python程式编写进行, 所以这是一套可以编辑的工具, 能够很自然地吻合您的VFX特效流程.
